Viewing, searching, and exporting your call history in Rylo Sidekick

How to find, search, rename, export, and delete your saved call transcripts in Rylo Sidekick.

Viewing, searching, and exporting your call history in Rylo Sidekick

Every captioned call is automatically saved to your Transcripts list, so you can revisit, search, or export it later.

Finding a past call

Click Transcripts in the sidebar to see every saved call, or use the search bar (⌘K) to search by name, date, or anything said during the call.

Renaming a transcript

Click into a transcript and select the title to rename it — useful since calls are automatically named after the app you were using and the time of the call (for example, "Zoom call, 3:14pm").

Exporting a transcript

Open the transcript, then choose Download to save it as a plain text (.txt) file, or use the Share option to send it through any app on your Mac. Exported transcripts include the call title, date, and each line labeled by speaker.

Deleting a transcript

Open the transcript and choose Delete. This can't be undone, so make sure you've exported anything you want to keep first.

Where is this stored?

Your transcripts are stored locally on your Mac — see Does Rylo Sidekick send my audio to the cloud? for more on how your data is handled.
