Does Rylo Sidekick send my audio to the cloud?

How Rylo Sidekick handles your call audio and transcripts, and what does — and doesn't — leave your computer.

Does Rylo Sidekick send my audio to the cloud?

Your call audio is processed in real time to generate captions. Rylo does not record or store that audio, and no one at Rylo can access it. Your transcript is saved only on your own computer — never on our servers.

What happens to my call audio?

To generate live captions, your call audio is processed in the moment it's spoken. It is not recorded, retained, or reviewed by anyone at Rylo — it exists only long enough to produce your captions.

Where is my transcript stored?

Locally, on your own Mac. Your saved transcripts, from every call, live in Sidekick's history on your computer — not on Rylo's servers. See Viewing, searching, and exporting your call history in Rylo Sidekick for how to manage them.

Are my call summaries processed in the cloud?

No — your automatic call summaries are generated entirely on your own Mac. See Getting an AI summary of your call.

Who can access my calls or transcripts?

Only you. Rylo does not access, log, or store the content of your calls.
