Yes — Rylo Sidekick works alongside your existing call apps rather than replacing them. It automatically recognizes calls in Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Slack Huddles, FaceTime, Google Meet, Discord, and Webex, and can caption calls in any other app if you start captioning manually.

Both work. Sidekick recognizes calls made through each app's desktop version as well as its browser version, across Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge, Arc, Brave, Vivaldi, and Opera.

Sidekick can still caption them — it just won't auto-detect the call and prompt you. Click Start transcribing from the home screen whenever you join a call in an app it doesn't automatically recognize.

If you're on a call in a browser tab, Sidekick captions audio coming from that browser as a whole — so if you have other noisy tabs open in the same browser window during your call, they could affect what gets captioned. For the clearest results, keep other tabs quiet during a call, or use a dedicated desktop app where possible.
