How to set up the necessary permissions for Rylo

To get the most out of Rylo, make sure to give the app the necessary permissions.

Set Up Permissions for Rylo

To operate properly, Rylo requires certain app permissions. Namely, the ability to access your device's microphone, speaker, contacts, phone capabilities, and notifications.

These permissions are only used for Rylo to operate. We never use them for anything else.

To set up permissions on iPhone and other Apple devices:

  1. On your device's home screen, search for 'Settings.'

  2. Inside Settings, go to apps and scroll down until you find Rylo. (You can also use search to find Rylo quickly.)

  3. Enable the following permissions to get the most out of Rylo:

    1. Contacts, Local Network, Microphone, Speech Recognition, Notifications, Background App Refresh, Cellular Data
