Set Up Permissions for Rylo
To operate properly, Rylo requires certain app permissions. Namely, the ability to access your device's microphone, speaker, contacts, phone capabilities, and notifications.
These permissions are only used for Rylo to operate. We never use them for anything else.
To set up permissions on iPhone and other Apple devices:
On your device's home screen, search for 'Settings.'
Inside Settings, go to apps and scroll down until you find Rylo. (You can also use search to find Rylo quickly.)
Enable the following permissions to get the most out of Rylo:
Contacts, Local Network, Microphone, Speech Recognition, Notifications, Background App Refresh, Cellular Data
To set up permissions on Android devices:
On your device's home screen, search for 'Settings.'
Inside Settings, tap 'Apps.'
Under Apps, search for Rylo. Tap into it.
Make sure the following permissions are allowed:
Notifications
Contacts
Microphone
Phone
Make sure to toggle off "Remove permissions if app is unused"
