When registering for Rylo, you may be asked to provide some personal information. Rylo uses this information to comply with FCC requirements and to support 911 calls.
How is Rylo using my address?
Rylo is required by the FCC to ask for your address — and we do it for your safety. If you ever need to call emergency services, your address is used to inform responders about your location. This is a 911 requirement.
Maintaining an accurate address on file is required for your safety. You can update your emergency address at any time from within the app.
How is Rylo using the last four digits of my Social Security Number?
If you are based in the U.S., we may ask you for the last four digits of your SSN. We are required by the FCC to collect this information to help verify your identity and prevent fraud.
We never use or access the last four digits of your SSN for any other purpose.
How is Rylo using my Date of Birth?
Rylo uses your date of birth together with the last four digits of your SSN to verify your identity, as required by the FCC.
We will never access or use your date of birth for anything other than verifying your identity (except maybe wishing you a happy birthday once a year 😀)
